Configuring a Preset
On the PixelBin Platform, you can create and configure a preset.
To check all your configured presets, go to the Presets
page.
Creating a Preset
Follow the below steps to create a preset.
- Either click on the
Create Preset
button at the top-right on the preset list page or on theCreate your first Preset
button if no preset is configured yet. - You will then be redirected to the
Playground
page, where you can create a preset from a set of applied transformations. - Navigate to the left pane to select the transformation or addon you would like to apply to the image.
- Update the parameters for the desired output. Click Apply to save the changes.
- Next, select another transformation and update the next set of parameters. Note that the added transformations appear in the
Transformations
list. - Continue adding transformations until you are ready to save this set of transformations.
- Click Save as Preset to open the Preset Save form.
- Type a Preset Name to save the transformations and the parameters.
Once you've saved your preset, you will be then redirected to the Presets Preview
page.
Cloning a Preset
You can clone an existing preset, which essentially means using the same set of transformations. A preset can be cloned from either the context menu of a preset on the Playground
page or through the Preset Preview
page.
From the Playground page
Click on the ellipsis button a preset and select Clone
.
Only Unarchived presets are shown on the Playground
page.
From the Preset Preview page
Click on the Clone Preset
button.
The user will be then redirected to the Playground page with the transformations in a preset already applied.
Archiving a Preset
Archiving a preset essentially disables the usage of the preset instead of outright deleting it. A preset can be archived from either the context menu of a preset on the Playground
page or through the Preset Preview
page.
From the Playground page
Click on the ellipsis button a preset and select Archive
.
Only Unarchived presets are shown on the Playground
page.
From the Preset Preview page
Click on the ellipsis button and then click on the Archive
button on the dropdown as shown below.
Follow the same above step to unarchive a preset.
In both the above cases, a warning pop-up will be shown. Click on the Archive
button to archive the preset.
The archived presets are denoted with the Archived
badge on the Presets list page.
Deleting a Preset
A preset can be deleted from either the context menu of a preset on the Playground
page or through the Preset Preview
page.
From the Playground page
Click on the ellipsis button a preset and select Delete
.
Only Unarchived presets are shown on the Playground
page.
From the Preset Preview page
Click on the ellipsis button and then click on the Delete
button on the dropdown as shown below.
In both the above cases, a warning pop-up will be shown. Click on the Delete
button to delete the preset.
